Hula in Studio

Tuesday - Halau Practice - by invitation only

$72.00 per person (2+ students required to start)

Appropriate for all fitness levels. Basic hula dance movements, hand gestures and posture are practiced. Hula is a low impact dance that challenges every muscle, including the brain, and can easily be modified in intensity for each student. We practice barefoot (or with footies) and use the mirrors to help learn body positions. Each class will include choreographed movements and every month a different mele (song) will be learned. Please arrive early, class starts on time!

Private Classes

Private One on One sessions in SJB Studio/Parker or Beach

1 hr - $40

3 1 hour sessions - $100.00

This is your opportunity to learn at your pace, and have your form corrected from the beginning. Or students with some experience, us this time to correct form and work on details like expression, eye placement, choreography, or even return to basics where needed. Perfect for those who would prefer to learn outside of a class setting, or need some modification to gain the confidence to practice a new dance form.

Semi Private Class, 2-3 students in SJB Studio/Parker or Beach

1 hour $60 (up to 3 students)

Dance with a small group of friends in the semi-private class. Customize to the style and music you want to practice, Hula or Bellydance. Learn to synchronize with your friends while dancing together.

Choreography Workshops

3-8 students

2 hours $40 per person

Workshops are customized for the group, from beginner to advanced. Select from a list of beautiful Hawaiian mele’s and the choreography is broken down and taught from beginning to end. Perfect for wedding parties who want to learn the Hawaiian wedding song, for church groups wanting to learn worship Hula, or for vacationing friends or families who want to take home a unique treasure.
